The ECE/CIS labs at the University of Delaware are maintained jointly between the Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) and the Computer & Information Sciences (CIS) departments.

Linux Updated in CPEG Lab (Evans 132)

The Linux installation on the computers in Evans 132 has been updated to include new and updated software, and a bunch of improvements to make administration easier. For the curious, they are based on the Gentoo distribution because of its Portage packaging system. Much customization has been done to make this lab easier to use, and we hope it'll become your default choice when browsing the Internet, coding, checking e-mail, and all your other needs in the lab.
